Partner with a Farmer in Israel... Share in the Mitzvah and Brocha!
"I will Ordain my Blessing for you" וְצִוִּ֤יתִי אֶת־בִּרְכָתִי֙ לָכֶ֔ם
(Leviticus 25:21 ויקרא)
Thanks to everyone who helped the farmers of Yitzhar get trees so far. They planted the vineyard before the deadline and friends of Zo Artzeinu like you helped pay for 1,000 of the trees so far. Thanks to everyone who already helped out. They still need cover the cost of the other 1,500 trees. The cost for flattening the land and all the infrastructure to protect the land is very expensive and beyond the funding ability of the locals in Yitzhar. They are simple dedicated people who are willing to work hard, but need your help. Dedicate some trees NOW, and Partner with them as they observe Shmitta.
The locals who planted are VERY dedicated, they had to hike down a 200 meter VERY steep mountain for about 10 min just to get to the vineyard! The least we can all do is help get them these trees!
See NEW video update below of Shloime in Yitzhar planting these trees. Become a LIVING part of the Torah.
PLEASE NOTE: You can order a tree now that will be planted right AFTER Shmitta. Support and become a partner with a farmer currently observing Shmitta! Share in the Mitzvah and Bracha!

As the video above relates, there is an imminent threat from Arabs illegally taking the empty land near Yitzhar (next to the Mt. Blessing and Grizim), which could cause a serious deterioration of security for the residents of Yitzhar. Planting a large fenced orchard in that area will prevent this security deterioration from occurring. Once there are fruit trees planted for agriculture, the IDF will have the motivation and reason to observe the security of the area and protect the land.
The orchard needs to be planted before September of this year, because during Shmitta (the Sabbatical agricultural year) farmers will not be able to plant. If the orchard will not be planted before Shmitta begins, then hostile Arabs around Yitzhar will try to grab as much land as they can illegally during Shmitta and start building on it. Kicking them out at that point becomes increasingly difficult because of political world pressure and condemnation.
Help protect the land, the Jews living in Yitzhar and the surrounding mountains by getting them fruit trees to plant before Shmitta. And of course, by helping farmers plant these fruit trees, you will be partnering with the farmers in the Mitzvah of Shmitta and Share in the Brocha (as per the ruling of Rav Yaakov Ariel
shlita -
see his letter below).
When you plant a tree using the form above ↑
you will receive a personalized tree certificate. If you can not donate one full tree, you can still Share in the Mitzvah and Blessing and Donate any amount by clicking on the

Israeli's president Rubi Rivlin planting avocado trees in Moshav Yavul in southern Israel near the Gaza boarder. The president traveled to the south of Israel to show his support for the farmers and express his admiration for them living in the Negev (desert) and turning it into a growing, thriving and productive oasis
Prepping the land in Beer Sheva for an urban orchard with our Jewish brothers who immigrated from Ethiopia. This improves the Negev, unites the residents around a project that feeds them and teaches about self sustainability as well. Zo Artzeinu member also teach them how to keep the Biblical Mitzvot with these trees and their fruits.
