Students of Eshkol Region Schools on the Gaza Border Planting Trees
Tu B'Shvat now here, schools across Israel are beginning to plant trees. This initiative was launched by schools in the south, near the Gaza border, in the Eshkol Region School District. The children there endured over a year of school closures and are coping with severe trauma. Returning to school - and especially planting new trees of life - has been profoundly therapeutic for them.

We planted a new orchard in Neveh Tzuf in memory of Binyamin Airley הי"ד who died as a hero protecting others. He was very connected to the land of Israel helped settle and plant a Vineyard in Neveh Tzuf/Halamish. The Airley family joined. All the Mitzvot performed with these trees will be Leilui his Neshoma.
New trees were planted by soldier IN Gaza on Tu B'shvat! Check out the video of Yishai Fleisher coving the planting.
We will be planting an orchard in the open fields of Nir Oz where so may where killed and taken hostage including 30 famers and the Bibas family. We thank Hashem that Yarden Bibas was released from captivity after being held by Hamas terrorists in Gaza for over a year, and we pray that his family will soon be reunited with him. You can still donate trees to be planted in Nir Oz.
A New Olive Orchard was Planted in Beit El (House of God) in memory of fallen hero Dovid Yehuda Yitzchak הי"ד. David Yehuda was a 23 year old single young man and lived in the Biblical Bet El North / East of Ramallah. He was killed in battle. Thanks to everyone who already donated trees recently.

Admor Hachalutz, the Pioneering Rebbe who came to Israel in 1920 and help build up Eretz Israel in Land, Torah and Mitzvot. He wrote a Sefer book called
Eretz Chafeitz about the importance of planting fruit trees in Eretz Yisrael and about the
Mitzvos Hatluyos Baaretz, Mitzvos that can only be performed in the Holy land.
