The Chava is an agricultural farm right at the entrance of Ramat Beit Shemesh under the supervision of the Ministry of education. Children and Adults from all over Beit Shemesh come here to learn about agriculture, planting trees, vegetables, taking care of them and the fruits and learning about the Mitzvot. Zo Artzeinu is donating a whole mix of new fruit trees to them including Avocados, figs, mangoes, different kinds of nut trees, passion fruit and much more to be planted before Shmitta starts. The Mayor of Beit Shemesh Dr. Aliza Bloch may join us as well.

Thanks to our Shmittah program the desert is LITERALLY coming to life!! Look at this unbelievable picture!! Today, our farmers planted 2,000 fruit trees on the Egyptian border IN THE SAND!! Every person - around the world - who clicked on our website and purchased one of those trees is building the land, turning sand into life and will be keeping the Mitzvah of Shmittah!! Its not too late - 3,000 MORE fruit trees will be planted in this same spot before Shmittah but the trees are going fast.

Rav Avraham Yitzchak Hakohen Kook and even learned with him. Rabbi Charlap writings which deal with the sanctity of the Land of Israel and the nature of redemption in our generation.
