Over the past year, we planted 12,000 fruit trees around the Gaza border, 10 for each of the 1,200 victims symbolizing growth, resilience, and hope. Tragically, during this time, 600 of our bravest heroic IDF soldiers gave their lives defending Israel's survival. We cannot let their sacrifice to be in vain!

We sent a truck full of trees to the residents in Nachal Oz who saw so much death. 60 soldiers and a dozen kibbutz residents were killed. more were kidnapped. Send them MORE trees to plant!

It takes A LOT to plant FRUIT trees!
- Find a suitable location and purchase it.
- Prepare the land by clearing away rocks and thorn bushes.
- Bring water, electric and other infrastructure to the site.
- Install a fence around the entire area to keep away the animals.
- Turn over, flatten and fertilize the soil.
- Install a computerized irrigation system.
- Strategically plan and carefully plant all the trees.
- Weed, water, fertilize, and prune them for 3 years (Orlah).
- AFTER 4 years we can finally redeem the fruits (Neta Revai).
- On the 7th year (Shmitta) no pruning or selling the produce.
Excerpt translated from a letter written by HaRav Hagaon Yaakov Ariel shlita , leading Posek on the Mitzvos of Agriculture in the Holy Land, author of dozens Halachic Seforim (books) on this subject, former Chief Rav of Ramat Gan and Rosh (directing head of) Machon Torah VeHa'aretz.

NEW Video: Site of NEW Orchard in Nir Oz in Memory of the Victims
A New Olive Orchard will be planting in the open fields of Nir Oz where so may where killed and taken hostage including 30 famers and the Bibas family. We thank Hashem that Yarden Bibas was released from captivity after being held by Hamas terrorists in Gaza for over a year, and we pray that his wife, Shiri, and their children, Ariel and Kfir, will soon be reunited with him. You can still donate trees to be planted in Nir Oz next week.

A New Olive Orchard was Planted in Beit El (House of God) in memory of fallen hero Dovid Yehuda Yitzchak הי"ד. David Yehuda was a 23 year old single young man and lived in the Biblical Bet El North / East of Ramallah. He was killed in battle. His army buddies, family and friends joined in the planting. His Parents joined the planting and were very moved. His mother Emuna told us that the neighbors told her that they are thrilled to have a new olive orchard next to their home. It will make the place much nicer than rocks and thorns, keep that land in safe hands.
